A new tech collective.

Formed in 2022, Cowry is the incubation hub within Australian Payments Plus, a home for bright minds with a simple mission, to power innovation for the industry.

The identity speaks to one of the oldest forms of currency that was traded throughout Australia and the globe – cowrie shells. The shells not only represent trade, connection and global ecosystems but also symbolise spiritual power and higher knowledge.

It was important the new identity told an authentic story and was grounded in meaning for the team to really get behind it and identify with the mission.
